I spent 6 years at SugarDaddy’s smoke shop in Boston, buying and selling glass, testing lots of pipes to find what I felt worked best and why. During this 6 year apprenticeship, I loved watching glassblowers & made 2 pipes with lots of hands-on help.

I left SugarDaddy’s in December 2002 to invest myself full time learning to blow glass. That was over 15 years ago and I continue learning every day, especially since my apprentices all joined the team. Joe, Doug and Anthony - I've learned so much from having you around!
