I have been sewing since I was a young child. The sewing machine was always out and available along with many other tools. My parents believed that you should be able to work with your hands and mind. Through sewing I developed a creative and technical interest. I studied and worked in the mechanical engineering world for 2 decades. I have now come full circle back to sewing. I have been teaching hand sewing at elementary and middle schools for the last 20 years. I also teach machine sewing to children and adults at my studio.
