Emily started her pottery journey at the Clay School ten years ago. Since then, she has been exploring the tactile beauty of pottery. Working mainly on a pottery wheel with white clay as well as blue and green glazes, she creates pieces inspired by the organic shapes, textures, and rhythms found in nature.

A devoted coffee lover, Emily is especially drawn to the mug as an object of her favorite daily ritual. Each mug is thoughtfully shaped with the hope that it feels natural in one’s hands, comfortable, balanced, and inviting to hold. Her work celebrates the small moments between handmade objects and everyday life.

Emily uses her work to bring elements of the natural world into the home, creating functional pieces meant to be held, used, and enjoyed. Her work is an invitation to slow down and appreciate the grounding rituals that make everyday feel special.
