Ceramics/Pottery
I'm a teacher in Lynn at a center for refugees, and I spend as much time as I can making pottery in the studio which is my refuge. I enjoy making functional pots - cups, bowls, spice shakers, collanders, and small plates using stoneware and porcelain. My surface designs are inspired by the architecture, textiles and nature of New England and Europe. I often use sgraffito to decorate my pieces, creating scenes of native birds and flowers.
