Cat Badal casually dabbled in ceramics from a young age and joined The Clay School in 2022. A special collections librarian by day and a hobby collector by later in the day, Cat delights in finding new creative modes of expression and refining her favorite ones.
A happy day for Cat is spent at home with her two cats, Buffy and Giles, knitting with yarn she dyed from foraged materials, and eating traditional Assyrian food she prepared out of a bowl she threw on the wheel. You might find elements of these comforts in her art.
