Claudia Thomas is an artist and art educator living in Medford, MA. By day, she teaches middle school art, and she teaches weekly beginner throwing classes in Woburn, MA on the weekends. Claudia became a student at The Clay School in October 2025 and has found inspiration and community among its members.
Her favorite thing about ceramics is knowing that she could keep working with clay for the rest of her life and never run out of new techniques and traditions to learn about. In her own work, Claudia enjoys experimenting with surface design, challenging herself to throw and build new forms, and creating pieces that are as comfortable to use as they are fun to look at.
